First Lego Robotics Competition - Season 3

The first Lego Robotics competition has been tentatively scheduled for March 12 Feb 11 5pm.  It was originally going to be on Feb 4;  Due to most teams not being prepared, it was pushed back.  I have been informed that the organizers are going to add a level of difficulty to the competition.  Something about isolating the kids from the coaches and asking the kids to program a task on their own.  Coaches, drill your kids.  The tasks won't be known until the day of the competition.  Not even I will know.  Oooo suspenseful... can't wait.

This season, I am guilty of not holding enough team meets.  I am hoping to make up for it by meeting twice a week at Vintage between 330-430pm, Monday and Thursday.  My team has all returning students, so they are all familiar with programming... running programming drills helps reinforce their skills.

I know its difficult for coaches... having to know how to program the robot in order to teach the kids.  but really, have fun with it... don't push the "we have to win" button.  I don't mind saying my team has not won a single competition.
